Get Married – Get Fat

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Hey, I betcha today’s subject line got your attention.

You know it happens all the time. Maybe it happened

to someone YOU know.

Well, the quick fix isn’t a divorce – although in some

cases it really, really helps. You drop a ton of baggage

and a ton of lard at the same time.

An example of this can be found in the e-mail I have

posted below – sans the person’s true identity.

Dear Matt,

This is (anonymous). I know you know who I am.

OK, I have had your stuff for years. I just quit training because my

wife wouldn’t. We were married for 14 years, and she gained about 5

to 10 pounds per year.

I tried to cook quality meals, she would eat them, then grab the

chips and dip.

Finally I gave up and joined her, My weight went up to about 295,

ONE HUNDRED POUNDS above what it should be.

Check your records to see when I bought another copy of Combat

Conditioning – http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html

and Gama Fitness – http://gama-fitness.com – that will give you

a time line.

I was on the road in CA for about 5 months. I began the program in

my motel rooms in May. About June 1, I was 288 and doing about 50

squats, 20 tables, and 10 hindu pushups a day.

It was a start.

A few days later, I was finished with the tour. I was expecting my

wife to fly and meet me in Salt Lake City to drive back (home)

with me. I had planned to talk to her about the next part of our

lives together. I never got the chance.

The night before she was to fly, she called me and said “Do not come

home, I never want to see you again, I want a divorce.”

My world shattered at that moment. I drove 28 hours non-stop to get

home. When I did, she REALLY let me have it. It was clear she

wanted me out; so in 72 hours all my things were in storage, and I

was in a motel.

I had a choice to make, and trust me I fought with it. One was to

take my .45, put it in my mouth, and end the pain. That would have

been very easy.

However, the Gama Fitness book was in my bag, and as you know

the goal part is first. So I had a choice, do I end my life, or do I

start a new one?

With the help of friends, good Doctors, and a few good medications,

I chose life. PLEASE to anyone reading this. If you are suffering

from depression, GET HELP. I have spoken to people who went like I

was for 5 years or more. You do not have to do that.

I got an apartment, and began a new life. I put your sayings on my

Fridge. I filled out the goals in the Gama book. I did my workout

the second my feet hit the floor, and again before my nightly

shower.

I began walking 30 minutes a day. I also went on Nutri-system.

This was really because I do not make money in the summer,

she knew that and didn’t care. I had to make my money go further,

and as the ad said, 6 weeks of food. Now I just shop, but I

know how much to eat, and what to eat, and when.

Ok, shall we cut to the endings.

Judo camp. EVERYONE was STUNNED at how I looked. My size

6 (japanese not europe) judo gi, ACTUALLY WAS BIG ON

ME. I taught EVERY DAY twice a day, two hours at a time! I also

taught special classes, did a magic show, and just worked my butt

off.

(A famous judo player) who was at camp, actually called me skinny! He

was in my room every morning at 7am to make sure I was exercising,

and corrected my form (don’t know if I liked that..ha ha). He got me

a rubber cord and showed me how to use it in place of weights, wow!

At the end of camp, he came up to me and said how different I was

from last year to this. He then quietly said “I know this hurts, but

it is a good thing for you.”

BUT, that is not the best part. I mean NOTHING I have ever won was

better then this next part.

First, when I began, I was 295, size 50 pants, 3x/4x clothes, you get

the idea.

At camp I was 250 and down to 2x, waist 44

Now, this week I was 239, a 42 inch waist. I look like a teenager

dressing in my Dad’s clothes! I do 100 squats, 50 reps of the ab set

(from your Combat Abs book), 25 hindu pushups, then the bands.

I do that twice a day. Every two weeks I add reps until I will really get it

up there.

OK, now, this week I had to see the soon to be ex-wife. Papers to

sign. I met her at our bank.

Again, NOTHING I HAVE EVER WON OR DONE was better than the look on

her face when she got out of her car and saw me.

I swear her mouth opened and her jaw dropped. She just stared at me.

She caught herself, walked up, and with a stunned look on her face

said “you look great.”

I can only imagine what she was saying to herself if that came out of

her mouth.

When we were leaving the bank, she walked in front of me, BIG

MISTAKE, I took a look at her almost two foot wide ass and her 250

pound body on that 5″5″ frame, and my brain said “You can do MUCH

better than this.”

I will too.

My one year goal is to be 185 by next Judo Camp.

Matt, God Bless YOU, for being a vital part of my healing process.

Mr. Anonymous

PS: I e-mailed this to you over a month ago. TODAY I am 230, 40 inch

waist, 150 squats, 100 reps of the ab set, 50 pushups and the bands.

MJF: Mr. Anonymous, I’m very proud to hear of what you’ve done. I’m

thrilled to know you chose life over death and fitness over flab. I wish

the best for your ex. Hopefully someday she’ll “get it.” If you ever marry

again, I know you’ll be on target no matter what. Keep kicking butt.

Well, my friend, tis all for now.

What’s Your Name Mean

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Dale Carnegie once wrote that the sweetest sound to a

human being is his own name.

This is true for many people, but not all. Previously I’ve

written about using both Matt and Matthew as a first

name.

Matt is the tough guy, fitness guru and brash kid from Iowa

who loves to stir up controversy.

Matthew, on the other hand, is the alter ego, coach,

mentor and guide for Matt. That’s the way it’s explained

NOW to drive all the real schizophrenics, neurotics and

psychotics crazy. And when you cover all three bases,

that’s most of society.

It takes brass balls to willingly create the look of a

schizophrenic – and both Matt and Matthew are having a

good time with it.

Putting all strange looks aside, your name does carry

a vibration and it may be helping you – or hurting you.

Take a look at the following article which is reprinted

here with permission of the author. Read it and bleep.

MJF

Bestselling Author Writes About His Name

I picked up Wayne W. Dyer’s new book a couple of days ago.

While browsing through it at the bookstore, one paragraph

got my complete attention.

In the preface of the book, ‘Change Your Thoughts – Change

Your Life’, about the ancient Chinese Classic – Tao Te Ching –

he writes:

‘Every translation I read referred to the Tao as ‘the Way’,

with a capital W, and the ‘Te’ as adding light or color

to the Way. Well as I look at the name I’ve carried with

me for over 65 years, Wayne Dyer, I realize what may

have attracted me to studying and writing these essays!

As you can see, the first three letters of my name make

up the word ‘Way’, while a dyer is one who adds light

or color. It’s no wonder why I’ve been so totally involved

in reading, writing, interpreting, and, most significantly,

putting into practice these 81 verses.’

Yes, Wayne, you are right. Every name is originally based

on a word. What that word reveals, says much about who

you are.

Here’s a look at another famous author, who changed

his name. Mark Twain was born Samuel Clemens. The

name Samuel comes from the Hebrew name Shemuel.

It means either ‘name of God’ or ‘God has heard.’

Clemens is a latin word meaning merciful and gentle.

So why did he change his name. I will tell you the

numerological reason in a moment.

First, the name Mark. As you know, St. Mark wrote the

second Gospel in the New Testament. But he wasn’t the

inspiration for the name change.

Mark Twain took this name from a call used by riverboat

workers on the Mississippi River to indicate a depth of

2 fathoms.

The word ‘twain’ is an archaic form meaning ‘two.’ His name

Mark Twain was based on an old nautical term. Sailors would

mark depth on the Mississippi River by dropping a rope in the

water. A ‘Mark Twain’ is 2 fathoms, or 12 feet. Samuel Clemens

was a boat skipper, and he chose this name, because at Mark

Twain, it was safe to sail along.

There was something about the number 2 Mark Twain was

attracted to. As was Wayne W. Dyer, whose Life Purpose

Number is a 2. This number symbolizes imagination,

conception, intuition and dreams.

But there’s more. In Chaldean Numerology the name Mark

Twain resonates to 17/8. This is the number of Immortality.

It pretty much guaranteed that his name would live after

him. Had Samuel Clemens kept his name change a secret,

he would have never benefited from it.

Instead, ‘Mark Twain’ was printed on hundreds of thousands

of books during his lifetime – eventually millions. He was

introduced as Mark Twain every time he spoke. Thus he

‘sent out the new vibration’ ensuring it reached as many

minds as possible. Mark Twain exponentially increased

his success by embracing his new name.

Another person we all know who changed his name recently

is none other than Matt Furey.

Matt added three letters to his name. H, E and, most importantly,

W, to reclaim his birthname, Matthew. Notice that Wayne W. Dyer

and Mark Twain also have a W in their names. While he was calling

himself Matt, the W was not active. But much has changed since

Matthew took on his full first name and this special letter.

How can a letter make such a difference, you may ask. First of all,

since every letter has a corresponding number, changing any

part of your name will instantly change the numbers that

your name adds up to.

Secondly, each letter is a symbol. The letter W is an especially

powerful and mystical symbol. W represents water and looks

like two valleys with a high mountain top. The number

associated with W is 5 – the middle of numbers 1 through 9.

So it represents balance and the mastery of all 5 senses.

People with a W in their name can dissipate their life and energy

by remaining in the deep valleys. On the other hand, when a

person with a W has a change of consciousness he will pull

himself out of the pit and scale the peaks. See how the W looks

like arms raised up to reach the light. THAT is a symbol of

power and mystical energy.

Once he sees the light and hears the air and wind on the

mountain-top, he can hear his inner voice. He has climbed

the peaks of the letter W.

But there’s more to this story. Numerologically, the name

Matthew Furey resonates to a far greater and more fortunate

number than Matt Furey does – and I think that is truly saying

something.

So, yes, your name DOES make a difference. There’s an easy

way to gauge how YOUR current name stacks up. And that

is through a highly personal 22-24 page Pythagorean

How to Beat Technology

Friday, September 21st, 2007

You may not realize it – but the very technology

we rely on to get more information faster – can

and does put a negative stress on your brain, body

and central nervous system.

Fact is, you don’t even know it. You don’t even realize

it. Until you put something called a Q-link around your

neck and immediately experience how it begins to nuke

the negative effects of techno pollution and brain drain

in a heart beat.

When I first saw the Q-link advertised in magazines I thought

it was the stupidest and most absurd thing I had ever heard.

I chalked it up as nothing more than a “good luck charm.”

How wrong I was.

This Q-link will do far more than bring you good luck. It

will improve your health, reduce stress levels and increase

your overall feeling of energy and well being. And it will

do so even if you don’t believe it.

That’s right. You can absolutely believe what I am telling

you is false. You can believe that everyone else is full of

baloney, too. And it won’t matter.

The Q-link doesn’t work because you believe it works. It

works because it WORKS. Period. Even if you’re the most

pessimistic down-on-life person in the world – this won’t

keep it from working.

I know this from experience. I’m a high energy guy. But

even I noticed a BIG difference the moment I let go of all

my “know-it-all-isms” and tried the thing before I passed

judgment.

I encourage you to do the same.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/QLink.html and discover

even more reasons to take what I’m saying seriously.

Best,

Matt Furey

Willing to Do Whatever

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Last week on a coaching call I broke a few

people out of a funk.

What they’ve been doing is visualizing. They’ve

even been regular about it. But they were still

stuck because they don’t want to do anything.

All they want to do is sit in the recliner and

picture a new world – and that’s it.

Heaven forbid they ever leave the recliner.

These people have been sold the idea that all

you need to do is express love and gratitude

and everything you want will magically appear.

Love and gratitude ARE important. I’d put them

at the top of the list. At the same time, though,

if you’re not willing to DO SOMETHING other than

picture what you want – well then, you’re not really

using the laws and principles of visualization in

the right way.

Yes, you can visualize certain things and have

seemingly unreal events and circumstances take

place. You can visualize more new clients and

have the phone ring with new business. You can

visualize orders streaming into your website – or

your mailbox being filled with checks – and have

it happen.

As I look back upon many of the results I’ve created

I’m often amazed at HOW they happened. But there

is one constant in all of my successes – and that

constant is my willingness to do whatever it takes

to make what I’m visualizing become a reality.

If I want to create a new software program, I must

be able to visualize what it is in my mind’s eye –

then I must be willing to sit before a monitor and

create the software. Or … alternatively, I must be

willing to hire someone who will DO it for me.

If I want to hit homeruns – I must come to the plate

and take some swings. I cannot hit a homerun without

getting into the game.

In short, you must marry your mental images to the

world of doing.

If that scares you – if doing something to get more out

of life frightens you – I have some very good news for

you.

1. When you combine positive mental pictures with the

act of doing – success comes to you much, much faster

than if you only visualize or only work. Those who work,

work, work get a paycheck. Those who work with a vision

create empires.

2. After you’ve visualized and after you’ve done those things

that show your willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed,

that is oftentimes when the synchronicity happens. That is

when the “magic” comes from out of left field. That is when

people show up in your life who guide you and help you

become what you desire to become.

Think back upon a success you created – even if long ago.

Some of my favorites took place when I was barely a teen

ager. And as you look at your success – ask yourself if

you were WILLING to do what it takes to get the result

you achieved.

How about now.

Get back in the zone. And stay there. Its’ not hard to find out

how. Go to http://www.psycho-cybernetics.com/zrlcourse.html

P.S. My October Zero Resistance Internet Marketing seminar is

heating up. The energy in the room is already at a fever pitch –

and we’re still 29 days away from blast off. Can’t wait to meet

you and shake your hand. If you’re not enrolled yet take care

of this today. You’d have to be downright goofy to pass over

the opportunity I’m giving you. So gallop on over to

http://www.knockoutmarketing.com and enroll NOW. Only

a handful of seats remains.

But I’m Too Busy for Exercise

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

I’m too busy for exercise. That’s the line

I used to hear when I was a personal trainer

in California.

I’d love to work out today but I’m too busy; got

too much to do. Strapped for time.

I can relate with this excuse. It’s an insidious one.

It creeps up on you, gets a hold of you to miss a

day or two – and pretty soon a week, a month, a

year – even several years go by.

Meanwhile, this entity called ‘your body’ is rusting

out from lack of use. You’re getting unhealthier by

the moment, but you think it’s okay because you’re

‘busy.’

It’s not a good idea to make this excuse. And believe me,

I must be on guard on this topic, too. Especially this month

and next.

Right now I’m preparing for three big seminars. Not only

that but I write three monthly newsletters, make two monthly

CDs, coach over 100 people, write a couple daily emails – and so on.

Yesterday I was up early and moving. Had so much to

do. Got a lot done – but there’s always more – and when

it was time to train, I thought about taking the day off. But I

didn’t. I fought off the temptation and as a result, got

MORE done, not less.

For every 15 minutes you spend following my fitness program

you get a couple hours of increased productivity in return. Sometimes

even more. That’s why I don’t like to miss. That’s why I like to

terminate any excuse my mind can manufacture.

Sometimes we think we’re doing the right thing when we blow

off training for some other purpose, but there is rarely ever

a good reason. And you’re made aware of this truth when your

workout is over and you feel the positive results of taking a

minute for yourself. Negative stress gone. Endorphins rushing

throughout your body. Good feelings overall.

I say ‘Let the rest of the world wait.’ When it’s time for YOU – it’s time

for YOU. Stop making everyone else more important than your-

self. You’re important, too. And you come first.

Follow my Combat Conditioning program so you

can truly appreciate the wonders of exercising like a champ. There’s a

reaons why I say you’re not too busy for exercise. Follow my program

and you’ll understand.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html

Kick butt – take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. You can also get my program and six other products for

nuthin when you enroll in the Matt Furey Inner Circle. Go to

it out.

It’s Almost Zero Time – 32 Days to Go

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Each and every day you are doing something

that is either moving your toward your goals or

further away from them.

The same can be said of how you communicate

with yourself; how you use your imagination; how

you talk to yourself.

Having a daily regimen that you plan on doing, then

follow through with – rain or shine, is one

of the hallmarks of the super achiever.

An aspiring as well as seasoned writer may write a

minimum number of words each day. That’s his

regimen. Or get started and end at a certain hour.

Someone else may follow a specific exercise program.

Once again, the program is followed, rain or shine.

Another person might like to paint. Then again, someone

else may enjoy singing, playing piano, reading or making

a few sales calls before breakfast.

Regardless of what the activity is – the daily regimen can

and will increase mind power when you connect it to a

desired outcome.

For example, as a college wrestler – then later on as a

world champion martial artist – I can tell you that there

were many, many practices that were agonizing. At times

my side would ache. Or my hands would shake with ex-

haustion.

Yet, as hard as things were during certain workouts, I would

picture my goal, and suddenly ‘all was well.’

When I kept my goal in mind, the side ache became bearable

and the pump I felt in my forearms became “no biggie.”

But when I didn’t focus on my goal – when I simply performed

the activity, things were much harder. There was physical and

psychic resistance. And I needed to remove this resistance.

But how.

In order to hit Zero Resistance – I simply changed how I was

using my imagination – and the rest was history. Not only

did the workouts get significantly easier – but

I reached my goals as well. A double winner.

I know a man who used this same idea to earn his fortune.

He started on the Internet when he was in his late 20’s. A few

years later, he was pulling in a couple mill per year online.

What he did was simple: Each day he’d get up and read his

goal to himself. He’d read it silently first – then outloud. Then

he’d sit in a chair and visualize hitting his targets. Before long

his website was making some major dough.

I know this person well because I coached him along the way.

I told him what to do and he followed directions.

And one of the biggest directions I gave him was as follows:

Choose the one thing in your business that has the highest

rate of return – and do it EVERYDAY. Choose the thing that

will build your career the fasterst – and do it EVERYDAY.

The man listened – and he’s still listening today.

Dr. Maxwell Maltz never looked at going into the Theatre of

the Mind as a ‘sometimes’ activity. It was an every day

deal. Each and every day you take time to play with your

self-image – to imagine better days – even when they’re

already good – or great. You can always expand your

self-image. When you do so you can count on improved

results and an better state of flow.

Going into your private movie house is a daily regimen.

It helps clear the cobwebs from your thinking. It helps

remove the resistance you may have to success – and it

does so effortlessly.

I suggest you begin with a few minutes per day and gradually

work up to 15-30 minutes.

You’ll find that amount of time if you want to. and it will end

up becoming ‘the highlight’ of your day. It may seem tough to

take that amount of time – but when you see and FEEL the

result – you’ll never want to give it up. That I can assure you.

You go to that special place in your imagination where no one

can get to you; no one can bother you; no one can keep you

from becoming all you truly desire.

You go into a room in your mind – your private imagination

room – a room where there are zero limitations; nothing but

an energy of possibility and capability; nothing but support

and guidance.

This October, at my Internet Marketing seminar the room I’m

teaching in will be the “Imagination Room.” And believe me,

when you’re inside you will be flooded with an energy you’ve

never felt or experienced before – along with a belief in your-

self that may have escaped you.

There are only 32 days left til “Zero Time.” The early bird

discount I’ve had will be eliminated very soon. Make sure

you enroll NOW and make your business and career the

masterpiece it was meant to be.

Best,

Matthew Furey

P.S. Go to http://www.knockoutmarketing.com to enroll. Do

so NOW and you’ll feel the pulse of enthusiasm and excitement

beating throughout your brain and body.

The Retirement Lie

Friday, September 14th, 2007

Last week I wrote, “Retirement is Suicide.” And that

it is.

At the same time, what I didn’t tell you is that retire-

ment is a big lie. And it’s a bigger lie today than when it

was originally hammered into most peoples’ subconscious.

Why? In part because people live longer today than they

did when the idea of retirement was sold.

Just for fun, let’s imagine that you want to live to be 80,

90 or 100. Laudable goals, no doubt.

Yet, if you “retire” at 60 or 65 – think how much dough

you’d need to have put away to live the way you are

living right now for another 20 or 30 years.

A lot, I think.

At the same time, why not consider the possibility of living

a grand lifestyle NOW – not when you retire. In fact, what if

you were so thoroughly engrossed in doing what you love to

do that the thought of retirement never even crossed your

mind? And as a result the money never stopped flowing your

way.

Retiring from ONE career so that you can begin again – that’s

okay. But even so I wouldn’t call it retirement. I prefer to

call it “changing gears.”

Years ago I stopped competing in the sport of swimming.

Later still I stopped competing in wrestling, then martial arts.

I still practice each of these activities – but I no longer compete in

them. I didn’t retire from them. I simply stopped competing in them

so that I could devote my time to other things I always wanted to do.

I’m betting you have “other” things you’d like to do with your life

as well.

But if you think you’re going to be able to do all those things you

love to do when you “retire” – THINK again.

You’ll either die far earlier than normal because you retired. Or you’ll

waste away physically and mentally from lack of stimulation and use.

The key to living a GREAT LIFE is to stay involved, to be active – and

most importantly, to DO what you say you LOVE to do.

Perhaps you have the idea that you cannot make a fortune doing what

you love to do. If you have this idea, I would say that you’ve been sold

on two very treacherous lies.

The first, retirement is good.

The second, financial security comes from doing what you’d rather

not do instead of what you love.

I have made a fortune doing what I love to do – and I can teach you to

do likewise. But only if you’ll open your mind and listen.

This coming October you’ll have plenty of time to listen and learn when

you attend my Zero Resistance Internet Marketing Seminar.

For more details on what you’re going to take away from the event, go

to http://www.knockoutmarketing.com

In the interim, forget about retiring. Think instead about “making a

difference.”

What Were You Taught About Muney

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

When you were a kid you listened to your

parents talk about muney. Even if you think

you didn’t listen to them – you most certainly

did.

You watched how they used it, handled it and

made decisions with it. You also absorbed the

same sort of feelings they had about it.

And chances are excellent you’re totally

unconscious of this fact. You’re simply going

along with the map you’ve got in your brain.

My children wouldn’t even know what you were

talking about if you said something like, “Rich

people are bad. People with lots of muney are

evil.” In fact, they’d laugh out loud if they heard

you say this.

I know this for a fact because of the all new

“Sermons on the Couch” we’ve put up at

http://www.matthewfurey.com

My son, Frank, watched the clips with me and

had no idea how anyone could possibly think

there is something bad or evil or wrong with

muney – or being wealthy.

But a good percentage of society has been sold

this type of thinking. This type of thinking, in my

opinion, is one of the greatest evils ever taught.

No one does anyone a favor by being poor. You

do not benefit yourself or society in the least by

being broke.

Years ago I had plenty of ‘stinkin’ thinkin’ about

muney. I believed that all you needed was “enough

to pay your bills” and no more. On the one hand

it was A-Okay for me to develop my talents as a

wrestler and martial artist WAY BEYOND the norm.

It was okay to be number one, better than all the

rest. It was okay to have skills in abundance. I had

no trouble with the idea of knowing more than anyone

else – or beating everyone else.

The day my life changed was the moment when I

figured out that the art of making muney is really

nothing more than another sport. I would even

says it’s a martial art. It’s a way of keeping score.

It’s a way to keep track of how disciplined you are,

how courageous you are, how confident you are –

and so on. It’s a daily test. It’s a WAY of life.

This is why you will find, if you really look, a

surprising phenomenon. And it’s something

you may not have learned from your mother and

father – yet it’s true.

Here it is: Wealthy people are often times far

more spiritual than those who aren’t. They’re

the opposite of evil. They’re giving, caring and

kind.

Sure, there are some rich people who are

complete jerks. But they’re not “wealthy.”

Rich is the flip-side of poor. Rich is someone

whose still afraid of being poor, so he hoards

what he has.

Wealthy people have no fear of poverty. They

know deep down that if they “lose it all” they

would get it back. They understand that they

have the skill to get muney anytime they really

want it. Therefore they have great faith in

themselves and the Universe in which we

live.

If you listen to the language of those who

do not have a prosperous state

of mind – you will note that, despite all the

talk about their faith, when it comes to the

subject of muney, they have but little.

They don’t believe they can have it. They

don’t believe the Creator wanted them to

have it. They don’t believe there’s enough

for all. They worry and fret about whether

they’ll have enough to pay their bills, put

their children through college and so on.

All of these worries, all of these negative

thoughts are anti-spiritual. They keep you

disconnected from the Universe, from the

Infinite.

If you have no worries or fears about muney,

then ALL of the energy that would otherwise

be dragging you down is now lifting you

UP. You’re filled with life – and you’ve got

it in abundance.

Today, make sure you form mental pictures of

abundance. Search out and destroy the mental

pictures you may have about ‘not having enough’

or not being capable of getting more living out of

life.

Have I Gone Completely Mad

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

Today is a very exciting day. It’s the day I

let you and everyone else in the world know

who my coach, mentor, advisor and guide is.

He may look like me – but he’s not me.

I think you’ll find his message enlightening. And

it’s coming to you on video – for no cost at all.

Go to http://www.matthewfurey.com and see

what I mean.

No, NOT www.mattfurey.com. That’s MY website.

This one is http://www.matthewfurey.com – BIG

difference.

Go see what I mean.

Believing is Seeing

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

In 1989 Dr. Wayne Dyer put out a book called “You’ll

See it When You Believe It.”

Great title.

I remember going to see him live in San Jose right as the

book hit the stores. He spoke for four hours and it was

riveting.

I bought the book and got it signed during an intermission.

Later on when I read it I highlighted several passages.

Yesterday I visited one of my libraries. This one is the one

where I keep booksI bought a long time ago – so as not

to confuse with my newest library.

On the shelf I see a copy of “You’ll See It When You Believe It.”

I opened it and noticed the autograph – seemingly fresh as the

day it was inscribed. I put the book in a box along with some other

items I wanted to transplant to my new abode. Then this morning

I opened it and began to re-read it.

After reading the introduction I began to think back upon who I

was when I first read this book 18 years ago.

This may sound like a strange thought – but when I look back

in time I see a trail of bodies behind me – and all of them

look familiar. They look like the being who would be identified as

ME.

But ME they aren’t.

My body isn’t me. Neither are my thoughts, ideas, emotions and

experiences. If they were I wouldn’t have the ability to look at

them.

Even my name – that isn’t me, either. We have “Matt Furey” on one

hand. He’s the achiever, the wrestler, the writer and marketer that

everyone is most familiar with.

But on the other hand we have “Matthew Furey” – my alter ego, mentor,

advisor and guide.

It may seem strange for ONE person to come up with two ways of viewing

himself – but I think it makes life a lot more fun. It allows me to show

others that everything stems from this thing called your “creative

imagination.” And in my imagination I can think anything I want – and

be anything I want. I can even play two roles – or fifteen, for that matter.

After using my creative imagination I can then make a choice as to

whether or not I want the thing I’m imagining to become real.

And all I need t do to make the imaginary thing real thing is as follows:

1. Picture the thing on a regular basis

2. Add desire (feeling) to the picture

3. Give strong commands to my brain

4. Move my body – take action

5. Let myself have it

When it comes to making a career change or improving your lot in life –

you must first and foremost form a mental picture of what you want.

But this alone isn’t enough. If it were everything you’ve ever pictured,

even one time – for one second – would have manifested in your

reality. Chances are many of those pictures would have killed you.

True.

So you’ve got to add feeling to the mental picture to cause a shake-up

in your reality. You’ve got to add desire. How do you do that.

A few ways. Today I’ll tell you about one of them.

It’s not often talked about or discussed. At least not in the way I’m

going to tell you now. But it goes like this: You go get an infusion

or transmission of desire from someone who has so much of it that

a ton of it spills into “your cup.”

This is what happens at my seminars.

Any seminar I do, too. Whether it’s a seminar on Improving Your

Self-Image or one on Internet Marketing – the same spill-over effect

takes place.

Those sitting in the audience get flooded with idea after idea after

idea. Along with the energy to go make something happen.

When I look upon a list of all the people I coach, I can’t help but

note that the success rate is amazingly high. It is absolutely

staggering. Some people who are just starting out are

making a couple grand a month – others ten grand – some over

a hundred grand – and “the chosen few” – well, they’re doing

millyuns.

Truth is that YOU and I and everyone else are the CHOSEN FEW – if

we’ll imagine it so – add desire – then get off the ole rumpus and

move toward what you want.

Would love to see you absorb my knowledge and my desire at my

next Internet marketing seminar.
