Yesterday a man sent me an email telling me that the
price of my October seminar, although valuable, smells
and smacks of “greed.”
He believes it should only be about a thousand bucks –
then said he couldn’t even afford that price.
I understand the man’s position. When you’re trying to
climb up the ladder anything that is out of your price
range may smack of greed. But is it.
If you go to a Mercedes dealership, once you look at the
price tag, it is greed or is it the value.
I say “it’s the value.” Mercedes makes a doggone good
automobile.
Putting cars aside, let’s say you enter a Ritz Carlton and
ask for a room. Do you think you’re going to get a $29.00
special “we’ll leave the light on for you,” – and if not – is the
Ritz simply tapping into greed.
Don’t think so.
Everything in life has a value – and when it comes to my
seminars, I put the price on it based upon the value being
delivered. But the stunning reality is this: No matter how
much I charge, I always over-deliver on what is promised.
In fact, this past May, at my $5,000.00 per person email
copywriting seminar – people already got full value the
first night at the bonus and gratis seminar on Zero
Resistance Writing.
The two-days the attendees paid for was simply icing on
the cake. I could have charged $10,000.00 per person as
I did a couple years ago and everyone still would have gotten
MORE than their moulah’s worth.
Not only that, but never lose sight of the fact that I, Matthew
Furey – expect and demand you to be a little more than a
bump on a log at my seminar. This is why, if you act like a
loser, if you pay and bring a posionous energy into the room
with you – I WILL throw you out.
Why.
Because I don’t want poison in my seminar room. I only want
people who really, really want to succeed and are willing to
do what it takes to make it happen.
I realize there are a LOT of you out there. You may be a rare
breed, but you are out there and my message is for YOU.
