Are You Watching?

Earlier today a friend called to ask if I’m watching today’s inauguration.

He figured I’d be giving some sort of analysis or critique.

I don’t think so.

I’ve missed almost all of the presidential inaugurations so far (except Clinton’s) – so me thinks it won’t hurt to let another one slide on by – especially when I hear how much the darn thing is costing us.

$175 millyun smackers.

Y’ouch.

And I thought I was a big spender when I purchased a couple tickets for Super Bowl XLIII.

Holy Schmokes.

This latest spending spree proves, once again, why I have no interest in politics.

And it reminds me of a quote I once heard about the greatest miracle in the world. It went something like this:

“The greatest miracle in the world is never allowing anyone to hypnotize you. No politician. No leader of any sort.”

Not an easy thing to do – no doubt. But I think it’s a worthy ideal.

Another ideal I think worthy of your attention is the man or woman looking back at you in the mirror.

Try not to be hypnotized when you look at him, either.

It’s so easy to lull ourselves into thinking we look fantastic, especially when we’re covered up.

So one of the best things you can do – something that inevitably leads to real and lasting change – is to take off all your clothes and look in the mirror.

Breathe deeply as you do this – and be honest.

How do you look.

And how do you feel about how you look.

After doing this – tear a page from Dr. Maxwell Maltz’ advanced course in Psycho-Cybernetics entitled Zero Resistance Living.

Look at yourself and say, “I CAN CHANGE.”

Don’t hope for, pray for or expect change to come from the outside. Expect to create it from the inside.

Get eyeball-to-eyeball with yourself. Even if you’re a bit sad when you really look at yourself.

Breathe deeply and come to the realization that “YES, YOU CAN CHANGE.”

Then begin to remember your best days – the days in which you were at your very best. Recall and relive those moments in which you easily fit into your clothes; the times in which you had boundless energy; the days in which you felt a surge of confidence coursing through your veins because you felt so physically fit.

Aaaah – that’s the feeling that you really want, isn’t it.

Well, you can have it again. All you’ve got to do is take the time to do the things you used to do – perhaps unconsciously – but now you’ll do them consciously.

Get up a few minutes early and follow your Combat Conditioning exercises.

In the evening, unwind your mind and turn back the clock by practicing Dao Zou.

And then, when it’s time to hit the hay, instead of saying ‘I’m tired’ – tell yourself “I’m going to wake up tomorrow filled with energy and vitality.”

Do these things and they’ll give you far more change than you had ever thought possible.

Best of all, commit to doing these things NOW and you’ll be rewarded with 50% off the normal amount for all of the products just mentioned – as well as any other Furey products – except for the Furey Faithful membership.

Just type ‘2009’ in the coupon code when you’re placing your order and you’ll receive an automatic 50% off.

And make sure you write me and tell me about the success you’re having with these programs. Remember, it’s not so much a matter of whether or not the programs work. It’s a matter of how fast you start using them and live the results.

I’m curious to see how quickly you can get the job done.

Kick butt – take names,

Matt Furey
