For about 20 years, my mother worked with adult
mentally disabled and retarded. She loved them,
often took them to church on Sundays – helped feed
them and give them nourishment.
One of her favorite stories centered around a man
in his 40’s who, for the 30 days leading up to Easter,
would get excited, wave his hands and say, ‘Easter
belly coming.’
Given all the candy children eat during Easter – I guess
he was spot on. It’s the Easter belly – not the bunny, that
is coming.
For many Easter is a holiday for celebration – a reason to
be joyful. Yet, the truth is that every day is a reason to be
joyful and celebrate – and all of us have an Easter belly or
bunny inside of us – a thought that can change negative to
positive and turn loss into gain.
On Monday of this past week a friend of mine was informed
by his wife that she wanted a divorce. He told me that he
cried harder that day than he had ever cried in his adult
life.
I gave him encouragement – helped point out to him his
strengths, and his ability to turn disadvantage to advantage.
He got the message and when I talked to him on Friday,
you’d think he’d be reborn. He’s gaining in mental and
emotional strength each day.
He understands the deal. Loss can be painful – but we are
never given a space in our lives that cannot be filled with
something of a higher nature. Key thing is understanding
that the ‘something’ of a higher nature begins WITHIN us.
My son, Frank, almost 6, resists the morning shower. He
likes to shower at night – but hates doing it in the a.m.
But this week he’s changed his mind. I explained to him that
when we sleep we ‘shed our skin.’ And that we need to shower
in the morning to get the old skin off our bodies and make
room for the new.
He got it. Shed the old – bring on the new.
Each day you have a choice to shed the old, painful memories
of the past and focus on the good you’ve accomplished – as
well as the good you are going to accomplish.
It’s a choice.
Make that choice each day. Look yourself in the mirror and do as
Dr. Maltz says on the video clip I sent you earlier this past week.
Ask yourself, ‘Charlie ole boy, what kind of a day is it going to be
today.’
Then reply out loud with, ‘It’s going to be a GREAT day.’

Best,
P.S. I’m almost ready to launch the early bird offer for my October
seminar. Unlike previous seminars, this one will not be about Internet
marketing. Instead, it will teach 3 HUGE secrets of mine that I’ve used
to earn a fortune. These secrets can be used both online and offline.
I have never taught them before – and I assure you they will change
your life for the better, if you’re interested. Stay tuned.
