Hungry Gator Comes a Calling

Yesterday morn I was at the beach condo working on

a project when the cell phone rang.

I let it go a couple times – as I was totally focused on the

job before me – but when it buzzed a third time I thought,

“Well, better see who this is.”

I took the call. It was my wife calling to tell me about the

alligator in front of our door.

“What should I do,” she asked.

“Uh, well, how big is it.”

“He’s just a small one. Just a baby.”

“Okay, then call animal rescue or gator rescue or whatever

it is – and keep the baby inside.”

An hour later the gator was nowhere in sight, so Zhannie went

outside to scope the territory. She spotted the gator hiding in the

bushes. Luckily our neighbor was outside. Zhannie told him what

was going on and he lured the gator out of the bushes, then chased

him back into the pond.

Last night I thanked our neighbor for his help. Then he said, “I wish he

was a lot bigger – then I’d have a better story to tell.”

Very true, I thought – then again, maybe you wouldn’t want to be telling

THAT story.

The good thing about our neighbor is he works out all the time. He does

Hindu Pushups, squats and bridging. He walks, swims and rides his bicycle.

At 45 he’s in decent shape.

Then we have a few other neighbors who could stand to drop about 178

pounds of excess blubber. If they had to chase the baby gator – they’d

probably croak.

This is yet another reason in Fure-cat’s bag – telling you “why” you need

to keep fit, why you need to train – and why you need to do it NOW. Afterall,

you never know who might be lurking in front of your door.

P.S. I opened the gates for my October 2006 seminar yesterday. This one

is going to blow the doors off of all previous seminars held by anyone, ever.

It’s called ‘The Science of Super-Human Marketing.’ Go read all about it now
