Only Weightlifting Exercise You Need

When I was 13 years old I got hit with the hardest punch I’ve ever felt.

But it wasn’t a physical punch. ‘Twas verbal.

“Ya know Furey, you oughta lift weights,” said the college athlete from my home town, whom I admired.

“Why’s that?” I questioned.

“Because you’re just about all fat,” he answered.

That night I went home and began training in earnest. I did just one exercise. It was with a barbell set with hard plastic plates filled with cement.
