“Some things take longer than you expected – but only because
you make things harder than they are. What goes wrong oftentimes
isn’t. It usually leads to something better.”
– Matthew Furey, 2007
The above is something I thought about a few weeks ago,
when I stepped on Chinese soil for the “umpteenth … or more”
time.
I came over here with a long list of “things to do.” Many of
them are writing projects: newsletters, promos, product
outlines, books, courses, special reports and so on.
The list never endeth – it seems. And that’s the way I like it.
While many things have already been accomplished – more items
have been added to the list.
Such is the life of an entrepreneur – if he or she is successful.
We have more than four burners on our stoves. We have at least
eight – and that’s only from one kitchen.
Oftentimes what happens is we begin cooking one dish, then the
idea for another dish comes to mind and we begin cooking that one,
too.
Then another dish comes to mind. And another. And another.
Next thing you know you have all eight burners going. At this point
you realize you’re making things more complicated than they need
to be. You realize, “Hey, I can only do one thing at a time. In fact,
I can only think about one thing at a time. So what is the one thing
I need to focus on and DO right now.”
Oddly enough, it may be something other than what you’d want to
focus on right now. Perhaps a deadline is coming on one of your
projects – and you’ve got to get things done or you’ll suffer conse-
quences you don’t want.
I guess this is my “brief” explanation as to why I still don’t have the
promo up for my October seminar. I figured it would be three days
when I sent the last email to you about it. Well, it’s been longer.
At the same time, I assure you that the delay is a good thing –
and when you read the lead for the event, you’ll know what I mean.
I realize many of you are chomping at the bit to enroll, and that’s
before I reveal all the details about the seminar.
So I’m thankful for that.
At the same time I do want to show you part of what I have in store
for you, so I’m going to have Eddie Baran – my webmaster – put the l
ead for this event on the website for you.
I think it’ll make you hungry for MORE. In fact, I know it will.
So don’t delay – go to http://knockoutmarketing.com/life_change.html
and begin reading NOW.
