How Many Ways Can You See Yourself

Think about this for a moment. How many ways can you come up with to 'see yourself?'

In your imagination, can you make yourself bigger, taller, smaller, lighter? Can you make yourself heavier, softer, lighter, rougher or more relaxed?

Can you make yourself smile, frown, laugh, cry?

Can you see yourself as physically fit and healthy? As a success in business; in relationships; in school; as a speaker, writer, teacher, coach or mentor?

Can you see yourself traveling the world, living here and abroad?

Can you see yourself as young, vibrant and healthy, regardless of your age?

Can you see yourself helping others live a great life, teaching them to grow through self-imposed limitations?

My friend, the better you are at seeing yourself in different ways, the easier it will be to 'ZERO in' on the way you really want to be. Everything starts with a vision, with an image you carry around in the theatre of your own mind.

The way you see yourself determines virtually everything you get in life. If you think you're unlucky, you will be. If you see yourself as lucky and somehow favored by others, you will be.

If you believe you have the stuff of greatness within you, then you'll find a way to create a corresponding reality for yourself on the outside.

If you think of yourself as in control of how you eat, how much you weigh, what size clothes you fit into – and if you form powerful mental snap shots of the NEW YOU – you will begin doing the things that the new person in your mind's eye represents.

Don't believe me? Then take the following test. Every day for the next 21 days, mentally pretend that you are exercising regularly and enjoying it immensely. Mentally pretend that you are eating healthy foods, avoiding junk food and feeling good about doing so.

Don't make any change whatsoever in your behavior. Simply take 15 minutes a day to imagine that you're exercising right now. Take 10 minutes imagining that you're eating healthy foods and that doing so is making you leaner.

If you're willing to do this, I think you're going to discover something unusual happening. Without an ounce of will power – you'll naturally be drawn to exercising and eating right. And you'll start wanting to do these things. You'll literally have a burning desire to do them.

Get the vision. Use your creative imagination and then watch as it begins to unfold and become your new reality.
