If you’ve ever done a Google search under the term
“Matt Furey” you’ve probably seen a few negative, jeaolus,
spiteful things said about me. You may not realize, however,
that the things said about me are also libelous, slanderous
and totally false.
Those who have ever met me in person know that I am a
very kind, giving, generous and helpful soul. And I never
do anything to hurt anyone. Unfortunately, there are those
who don’t give me back the same treatment I give others.
Instead, through petty jealousy and resentment, they attack
all the good that I do.
In the past I ignored it. I’m not now.
In the past I was also given very bad advice from people who were
close to me. They told me there was nothing I could do to stop it
because … “you’re a public figure.”
Although I may be a celebrity, I am not a public figure. I do have
rights and I will exercise them.
Recently my wife and I took a look at some of the nasty stuff
being written about me online. One coming from a fellow wrestler whom
I helped with his marketing a few years back. In turn, after I was kind to
him, he turned like a rabid dog, engaged and connected with the venom of
others, and has proceeded to try his best to bring me and my family down.
In the very letter posted on his website it is very clear that this person and
his buddy have malicious intent – and therefore, after a long discussion with
my wife, we have decided to take immediate action to rectify these wrongful acts.
So this is fair warning to anyone talking crap about me on the Internet.
You are herewith advised to remove any and all negative, libelous, slanderous
and defaming mention of me from your websites – or accept the consequences,
in the form of “legal man.”
As my wife said last night, “You may hate me and my husband, but I assure
you that you will hate the attorneys we hire one million times more.”
If you’re buying my name on Google adwords and using any sort of derogatory
headlines like “Matt Furey sucks” or “Matt Furey scam” or anything of the sort –
be ready to defend yourself. The money sucking lawyers are coming your way
NOW.
This is the ONLY warning you will receive.
If you’ve put up copyrighted photos of me or my wife on your website to mock,
jeer or tarnish, or for any other reason – this is the ONLY warning you will ever
get. Your website will be owned by me in short order if this continues.
