The Ultimate Fat Burning Secret

Tuesday, August 8th, 2006

For years I’ve been telling you about the glories of

hill training. I’ve stated over and over that uphill

fitness training is the ultimate fat burning secret of

many famous athletes.

I wrote about it in Combat Conditioning. I’ve mentioned

it in dozens and dozens of emails. In response I have received

hundreds of questions.

I’ve always wanted to put together a course covering every detail of

hill training, from running to sprinting to everything in

between. But guess what? – I live in Florida – the no-hill

state. In order to put together the program I would have to

fly to various places and film it. I didn’t feel like doing this.

So I searched for someone who could not only make this

product for you – but do a better job than I could.

Two weeks ago, Tim Kauppinen, aka Coach K, sent me his

course on Uphill Fitness Training. I was in awe. The course

was so good I truly wish I was the guy who put it together for

you.

Believe me now and listen to me later when I tell you that you

must go and take a look at Coach K’s Uphill Fitness Training

program. It’s the ticket that will take you to the “next level”

– literally and figuratively.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/uphill_fitness_training.html and you’ll

quickly see what I mean.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. Don’t ignore this offer. Tim’s course will sell out very,

very fast. This topic is red hot with my list. Let’s see if we can run so hard

we crash his site – http://www.mattfurey.com/uphill_fitness_training.html

MasterMind Power

Monday, August 7th, 2006

Last weekend I held a MasterMind meeting with over

100 like-minded professional DOERS, right here in

Tampa.

The energy in the room was incredible. That’s what

happens when you have two or more people working

together in harmony toward a desired aim.

As powerful and necessary using your creative

imagination is – it is also of utmost importance to

learn from others who’ve ‘been there and done it.”

Success in life doesn’t go to those who want to save

face; to those who want to pretend or appear they

already know everything.

No.

Success goes to those who reach out for help – to those

who understand that no one succeeds alone.

Dr. Maltz understood this. I understand this. And those I mentor

and coach know this to be a fact.

This October I’m having a mind-blowing seminar on the Science

of Super-Human Marketing. Yet, what I teach is universal to

anything you want out of life.

One of the great keys to success is being REAL;

it’s being an authentic human being.

Those who ARE real are so uncommon they appear to be SUPER HUMAN.

Amazing, but true.

Last week all 12 seats I had left at the old seminar amount were snagged. I

planned to bump the fee for enrollment – and I did – BUT in a

few days it will get bumped AGAIN, when I release a mega-powerful

video for all to see. When this video gets played, you can count on all

remaining seats being snatched in record time – regardless of the amount

being charged.

So it IS in your best interest to enroll NOW if you’re even slightly

interested. The fee will go up again – considerably – in a few days.

There’s no time to waste on this.

So go to http://www.knockoutmarketing.com and enroll NOW.

The Slave-man Diet

Monday, August 7th, 2006

Are you a slave to certain foods? If you answered

yes, I’m betting – with almost 100% accuracy, that

the foods you feel a slave to are sugars, pastries and

starchy carbs, such as bread, pasta, rice, etc.

Today I’ll focus on starchy carbs, from herein on out

to be called ‘slave foods.’

What’s a slave food?

A slave food is …

a. a food that you are addicted to, feel enslaved to;

can’t quit eating.

b. a food that conquered people are forced to eat,

such as rice, wheat, corn and potatoes. The food

must be cooked – and when eaten, although filling,

it weakens the body.

Today, in little ole ‘merica – many people sit for a

meal of all the slave foods listed above. They get all

of them in one sitting. Sure, the eater may have some

protein – but it’s pushed down the gullet with french

fries, hash brown, bread, corn and rice.

Sit at table in a nice restaurant. First thing brought to the

table is bread. After eating this you get your meal – which

usually contains bread, rice, pasta and so on. You leave the

table mighty full – even bloated. You feel happy and lousy

at the same time.

The next day, though, the happiness is gone. You feel

lousy. You look in the mirror and note that you’re getting

fatter and fatter.

What you don’t see, however, when you look in the mirror,

are your blood sugar levels. They are bouncing off the walls.

Now, you can help stabilize your blood sugar levels from

exercise, deep breathing and proper rest. Yet, if you continue

to bombard your stomach with slave foods, sooner or later,

you run a high risk of becoming diabetic.

20 million Americans are already diabetic. 41 million are diagnosed

pre-diabetics. And there are millions more who are NOT yet

diagnosed.

Americans are getting fatter and fatter by the day. So are the

British – the Australians – AND – not kidding you, the Chinese.

The Chinese, some 20 years ago, considered it a compliment to

say, ‘Ah, you’re getting fat.’ No one in China was trying to lose

weight 20 years ago.

Today, ‘I need to lose weight’ is said by many a Chinese. On the

one hand they have a deep culture containing many of the most

powerful exercises on the planet – but once they begin eating more

and more packaged foods – along with a ton of cakes and other

pastries – look out. It’s blimp city. Naturally, having Micky D’s and

Kay EF Cee throughout the country doesn’t help much either.

If you want to reverse the direction you may be heading in life,

i.e. excess fat around waistline, low energy, lack of strength,

endurance and flexibility, then you owe it to yourself to save

your own life via exercise and proper nutrition.

The above is what I teach in detail each month to members of

the Matt Furey Inner Circle. In this month’s issue of the monthly

newsletter and CD, for example, I’m going to teach you how to get

some incredible cardio training done in 12 minutes or less – and

thereby blow-torch excess fat off your body. And I’m going to show

you how to REDUCE with the proper foods.

Right NOW you can get enroll in the Matt Furey Inner Circel for the

special one-year membership fee – but you must move your buns

pronto. I’m only allowing 57 more people in at this special all-time low

amount. Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and

enroll to-day. You get 7 gifts with your enrollment – so this program is

a virtual steal.

Or you can begin by taking one-step forward on your lifelong journey toward

abundant health and fitness by enrolling as a ‘test-drive’ member. Go

to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html and check it out – as

they’re are bonuses for signing on there, too.

Aerobic Training Kills

Friday, August 4th, 2006

Jason, a member of the Matt Furey Inner Circle recently attended

a seminar put on by someone he referred to as a “reputable

American motivator.”

At said seminar, Jason learned some interesting “facts” about exercise.

These “facts” were as follows:

Anaerobic training causes:

fatigue,

recurring injuries,

low blood sugar,

fat metabolism problems,

depression & anxiety,

circulation problems,

and creates excess acid.

Aerobic training (or cardio) however,

supposedly has the following benefits:

increased oxygen supply

good for heart

improved digestion

better sleep

improvements emotionally and mentally.

At this seminar the point of view puts across is that aerobic

exercise builds health, anaerobic builds muscle.

In a nutshell, the advice Jason received at this seminar was

practically worthless. Here’s why:

1. If you think you only increase oxygen supply through

distance “aerobics” – then you ain’t never felt the air

pumping in and out of your lungs after a hill sprint or a

good set of Hindu Pushups or squats – not to mention

burpees, Hindu jumper squats and so on.

2. Although commonly believed, cardio exercise done

for long periods of time does NOT improve the heart.

I’m not saying you should never do it. It can reduce

stress – and it can be challenging and fun. But make

no mistake about it, people keel over and die while

running marathons. What does that tell you? It is far

more stress than the heart needs and the heart doesn’t

really like it. I prefer to look at the organs the way the

Chinese Taoists do – and in their book, distance running

would literally overheat and “COOK” the internal organs.

Moreover, distance runners or those who do tons of

aerobics, age much faster than those who do strength

training exercises like Combat Conditioning. Show me

a marathon runner and I’ll show you someone who

is aging far too fast. Their free radical damage levels

are always on RED ALERT – and funny thing is, these

athletes think that because they’re “in shape” – that

those free radicals don’t hurt them. Think again, budding

boy.

3. Regarding injuries – have you ever heard of hip

replacement surgery. Very common amongst distance

runners. Not to mention bad backs, knees, ankles – as

well as faces that resemble an over-dried prune.

4. As for better sleep and digestion – that’s a crock, too.

You can do some deep breathing exercises in a chair and

improve digestion and sleep far more than pounding the

pavement.

5. Regarding depression – All you have to do to end depression is

hold a bridge for a minute or so. You’ll be so euphoric

afterward you’ll feel like no problems exist. This one exercise

can save you 59 minutes of pavement pounding, which is

about what you need to get your “runner’s high.”

6. Last of all, how stupid to say that aerobics are for health and

anaerobics are for muscle. Sprints improve the heart big time, and

fast. And I know of no faster exercise for dropping the resting pulse

than Hindu Squats. With the health benefits, er, not – of aerobics, I’ll

take the muscle you get from the so-called “anaerobics.”

This afternoon I ran for time with the Lifeline Sprint Trainer –

available at http://www.lifelineusa.com – connected to my wrists

and ankles. Each jaunt lasted about 20-30 seconds. Did five of them.

Whooped my butt and my heart into better shape. Mixed them in with some

pushups, chin-ups and rope climbing. I was panting like a dog in heat. Sounds

to me like I was getting MORE oxygen than the long-distance runner. Not

only that, but afterward, I slept like a log.

And just think, now I’ll probably be depressed because I didn’t

waste an hour in the sun pounding the pavement. Shucks.

IMPORTANT: Forget all that non-sense about long-distance aerobics. Enroll in the

Matt Furey Inner Circlehttp://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html

receive 7 gifts automatically – and be entitled to a year’s worth of access to

our private online discussion board, wherein you can interact and improve

by asking questions and getting immediate answers. I’m only take a few dozen

more on this special – so get in NOW – while the getting be good.

Kick ass – take names,

Matt Furey

P.S. One last thing: I realize that some people don’t want to enroll for a full year. They’d rather ‘test-drive’ the program for a month to see if they like it. Tis fine with me – for another day or two. So I’m also having a special ‘test-drive’ enrollment – and you can read all about the benefits by going to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html

Time Wasting Cardio

Thursday, August 3rd, 2006

The other day I told a friend something that made

him laugh. What I said is not always true – but it’s true

more often than you’ve previously thought.

Here goes: ‘Have you ever noticed how the fattest

people spend more time talking than anyone else?

Look around. Next time you see someone who has

seemingly unlimited amounts of time to shoot the

breeze – take a look at the size of his belly – or his

behind, and take note.’

Harsh words, I know. But with over half the U.S.

population being overweight, 20 million suffering

from diabetes, another 41 million being PRE-diabetic,

not to mention the amount of pills being popped for

depression, anxiety, and so on – there is cause for

alarm.

Think of this: So many people claim they have no

time for exercise, or to eat healthy foods – yet these

same people have hours per day to sit around talking

to whomever comes along. They have time for tee-vee,

too – as well as Internet chats.

Yet – they’re busy. They’re too busy.

Yes they are. They’re busy wasting time – precious time

that can never be retrieved.

TIME is your most valuable asset. It’s more valuable

than gold. And it never stops ticking.

Each and every day you have time to make positive choices

in your life. Choices to exercise, to breathe deeply, to imagine

the life you want – choices to do whatever it takes to make

your desires a reality.

Contrary to the way so many people have been taught to

think about exercise – the truth is that you don’t need

hours of it per day. Although I applaud those who run

marathons and accomplish endurance feats (these represent

the fulfillment of goals that matter to them), you do NOT need

a long cardio workout each day – or even several days a week.

Long cardio workouts are, for the most part, a waste of time.

Moreover, they’re injurious to the body, internally and externally.

You may think you’re improving your cardio by running for an

hour – but you’re not. You’re weakening lung power – and you’re

beating your joints to death – giving them a shorter lifespan than

they would normally have.

Want to improve your cardiovascular system, then do Hindu Squats.

It’s a far faster way to lower your resting heart rate than distance

running.

The muscles of your legs, in Chinese medicine, are considered your

‘second heart.’ When you do vigorous exercises like Hindu Squats

and hill sprints, you not only work your heart and lungs – but by

strengthening your legs you give ‘insurance’ to your cardiovascular

system.

If you want a powerful cardio system – you must BLOW out your

system – just like you would with a sportscar. You don’t drive

around at 25 miles per hour in a Ferrari and think that you’re

doing the car a favor. NO! You get out on the road and go as

fast as you can – forcing your heart and lungs to adapt to major

stress. This then causes your heart and lungs to get stronger –

and fast.

This is what I teach. And each month, members of the Matt Furey

Inner Circle – receive all the details that are not listed above.

In the August issue of the monthly newsletter and CD, for example,

I’m going to teach you how to get some incredible cardio training

done in 12 minutes or less – and thereby blow-torch excess fat

off your body.

Slay The Demon

Tuesday, August 1st, 2006

I’ve often written to you about how the pictures, words and

feelings you continually run through your mind and body play

a major role in determining your results.

If you ever lack for motivation to accomplish a task, there are

concrete, specific and negative things you do to yourself to

make life harder on yourself.

Yesterday I was in a tea shop – sitting with laptop, when a young

man in my MasterMind group wandered in. As he was ordering his

drink I looked at his face and his body language. Something was

definitely off.

I listened to how he spoke to the lady serving him, how he paid

his bill and how he responded when given the change.

I said nothing.

The man wandered over to my table and I listened to a couple

long sighs. I said nothing.

About a minute later the man began to open up – telling me that

a bomb had just gone off.

Now, don’t know about you – but the word ‘bomb’ is something you

use in a war. But not for this guy. Nope. He receives a telephone

call and the message in the call is … a “bomb.”

He begins to tell me about his problem – doing so as if there is nothing

he can do.

I look at him and say, “My goodness, you have a brain, right? You can

think, right? I’m not talking to an imbecile, am I?”

“No,” he replies, dejectedly. “But I don’t know what to do.”

“Let’s start by pulling out a legal pad. Write your name at the top.

Then date it. Now write an empowering question at the top of the page. And

once you’ve done that, sit there and record everything your mind spits

out.”

He nods.

“Look at you,” I said. “Your face looks like that of a frightened 3-year

old child.”

“I know it does because I’m scared.”

“Is being scared the right way to use your mind? Tell me right now what

you’re going to accomplish with this situation by sitting around letting

fear control you. YOU must control fear. You’re in charge big fella.

Change what you’re feeling to something that will help you – then get off

your arse and do something. Quit acting like this is the end of the world. It’s

not. It’s just one challenge that you’re facing – and that you CAN conquer, if

you’ll do something.”

The man got the message. A few seconds later his face softened. His bad

posture improved. He left the tea shop and spent the rest of the day

making calls to create the result he wants. I have no doubt he’ll surprise

and amaze himself, if he keeps moving and doesn’t allow the demon of fear to

run his life.

The same situation I have described holds true in fitness.

Here’s proof – this bit coming from a long-time Matt Furey Inner

Circle member:

Good morning,

This morning was a bit of challenge for me… On my walk into the

office, I usually plan what I am going to get done and how I want to go about it,

including my morning round of pushups. Well this morning, my inner voice was

telling me that I deserved a day of rest and I didn’t need to push myself to get my

pushups in.

It sounded so good, I almost fell for it!

Again, before I dropped down for my first set, the little voice was

telling me that I didn’t need to and I would feel better for resting today. Man, that

little sucker can be persuasive!

Well, I dropped down and pumped out my first set of 30 and told that

bastard to shut the hell up! Then I told it, if you’re gonna talk, then start

talking to me in a positive way.

Well, I got my sets in and I feel better for it.

Regards,

Tony Griffin

M.F. Right on, Tony. Good work.

This post by Tony is merely one post in a line of droves

that inspire and motivate the others in the MFIC. It IS the place to

be – and the monthly n/l and CD you get from me will keep you in check,

making sure you conquer all the demons that might try to ruin your

life.

At present we are looking at limiting the number of people who can

enroll for an entire year. The amount for the year is far too low compared

to the value being delivered. I’m frequently embarrassed when I think of how

much people are getting for nuthin when they join – especially when I

examine how much people in the MFIC have improved.

As such, I’m going to limit the number of NEW 1-year commitments to

no more than 199 – and as of right now – 78 of them are already taken. Sprint

on over to http://www.mattfurey.com/furey_inner_circle.html and make sure you’re not left out.

One last thing: I realize that some people might be a bit timid about

enrolling for a full year. They’d rather ‘test-drive’ the program for a month

to see if they l ike it. Tis fine with me – for another day or two.

Go to http://www.mattfurey.com/fg324trfsr3ttai.html to look into

starting your test-drive membership.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. The number of success stories in the Matt Furey Inner Circle are

legion. Be one of the next in line who can say they are kicking butt and taking names.
