More Life Lessons You Won’t Learn in School

Wednesday, October 26th, 2011

Two weeks ago I met with the owners of a restaurant here in Tampa.

They’d  opened  their doors five months earlier, and business was anything but booming.

It would be easy as well as typical to blame the economy, but I believe you can attain flow, financially and otherwise, in any economy.

Well, one day when I was paying my bill the owner told me that the booths and tables were from the previous owner – who failed in this location.

As I was leaving I told the owner that I’d be back to tell her something in a day or two.

When I returned I met with the owner and her sister and advised them on what they could do to change the flow of energy in the restaurant. I gave them a few principles to follow in terms of flow – and to my delight, began making changes instantly.

They completely trusted what I told them and began at once.

A week ago when I entered the place, I was stunned. I got positive goose bumps all over. The place was flowing with energy that was previously blocked and barricaded.

And since that day, every time I go there, they have more and more customers. Business is starting to boom. Word is beginning to spread. People who used to drive by are suddenly jarred into seeing their place for the very first time. Like a magnet, they are pulled into this restaurant to eat.

This is an example of what I can help someone accomplish who is open, willing to learn and accepting of change.

When someone is willing to learn and change – results come quickly. Sometimes so fast you’re left wondering, where were all these people, all this success, all this prosperity before. This is also an example of someone who wasn’t in FLOW, but quickly got into the Zone by following the suggestions of someone who has been there and done it.

It isn’t lack of knowledge that holds most people back. It’s the inner image and the corresponding feeling that goes along with it.

In a previous email I told you about a physically fit specimen who’s been told all his life that he’s not good enough yet, so guess what? He won’t even begin.

Then there’s a 30-year old man who enrolled in one of my courses several years ago.

He followed what I taught and within short order was easily knocking down six figures. In this course, he learned how to get into flow.

And when he hit six figures he increased his flow to seven figures by making products about what he teaches. Today, he’s a star in his niche.

What’s the biggest difference between the two men?

Physically, the younger man has more going for him. He’s a lean machine with a ton of athletic ability most would scream for.

The other guy was 55 pounds overweight.

But he got started anyway and today he’s not only 55 pounds lighter, he’s seven figures more prosperous.

He accomplished both objectives at the same time by getting into FLOW and starting NOW.

He didn’t wait until he was Mr. Perfect to get moving. Neither did the owners of the restaurant.

The winners began with what they had and amplified it.

This is the same thing I’ll be teaching you at my seminar in Clearwater, Florida in less than 10 days. At present we are 90% full, so there’s still time to enroll if you act immediately.

Make sure you’re there as this event will be a life-changer in ways you cannot yet believe.

“Believe what doesn’t seem possible and you’ll do what others believe incredible.”

Matt Furey

Pig Out

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Hyh uh.

I’m not telling you to pig out. The reality is that most people already do.

What I’m telling you is: you can get away with it – and still drop excess fat fast, IF you’re following a fitness program that causes a search and destroy butter-burning mission inside your body.

That’s what happens, my friend, when you follow my  program, The Fastest Way Humanly Possible to Burn Fat

This is the perfect time of year to test out this program and find out for yourself that the Zen Master is spot on, yet again.

Expect versus Want

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

Is there a difference between expecting to win and wanting to win?

You better believe it.

The other night I was watching highlights of the MLB playoffs.

The announcer began talking about the two teams to make the World Series – Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals.

And then the following was reportedly said by the Rangers Josh Hamilton. To paraphrase:

Last year we wanted to win the World Series. This year we expect to win it.

There is a HUGE difference between expecting to win and wanting to win. It’s as big a difference as wanting to get pregnant and expecting to deliver a newborn baby..

One you’d like to see happen. It’s a preference. The other is something you demand of yourself and command into reality.

Now, to be fair, we don’t know the mindset of the St. Louis Cardinals right now. Do they want to win or expect to win? No report on that one – but I’m betting there manager, Tony LaRussa, who’s been to the big show several times, and won it more than once, isn’t going there for a picnic and photo op.

So what happens when you have two teams in a championship series who expect to win?

Who wins?

Well, you’ll find the answer to this question in my book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Order a copy today and you’ll be amazed with what you discover.

A lifetime of knowledge on success and achievement – all in one easy-to-read can’t-put-it-down book.

How to Get Into the Zone

Monday, October 17th, 2011

A lot of people who’ve been in “the zone” here and there, come to believe that this feeling of flow is something that just happens to you – and you have no control over whether or not it takes place.

I believe you do have control over it. I believe you can direct it. Or at the very worst, dramatically increase the odds that it will happen more often.

Successful living is more about being “at cause” than being “the effect.”

A simple test to gauge yourself can be done using the 1-5 emotional scale.

Think of something you’re really good at, something you feel as if you’re in control of your performance.

On a scale from 1-5, how confident do you feel. If you answered ‘5’ – chances are excellent you are in the zone, you’re in flow, most of the time in that area.

If you answered between 1-3, you don’t feel in control much of the time. And if you answered 4, you have moments of flow but you’re not sure how to make
them happen over and over again.

Last week a friend showed me a video clip of a martial arts master throwing a tent spike into a milk carton from 25 yards away. He’d done this feat many
times before, but people thought it was faked in some way.

So this time he showed you the empty milk carton (one that holds a pint), then marched 25 yards away from it while talking casually.

He then looked at the target, threw a perfect strike at the carton and turned back around to say, “Like that” … BEFORE the spike even hit the carton. A moment later, the spike nailed the empty container and the master walked toward it to show how the spike went through it.

Yes, “like that.”

He’s so good at performing this task he only needs to throw the spike. He already knows it’s going to hit the target before he throws it. This is level 10 onfidence on a 1-5 scale. This is flow. This is the zone.

You don’t think you can enter the zone at will? Or you want to learn how – then you absolutely must grab a seat at my seminar next month in Clearwater, Florida.

It’s called The Flow for a reason.

We’re getting close to being sold out – and if you act immediately you’ll be sitting in the audience a few weeks from now, absorbing the know-how that can take you to the top.

“Believe what doesn’t seem possible and you’ll do what others believe incredible.”

Life Lessons You Won’t Learn in School

Thursday, October 13th, 2011

The other day I spoke to a young man who wants to be a personal fitness trainer. People have already asked him for his help, but he doesn’t believe he’s ready yet, so he hasn’t gotten started.

He gave many reasons why NOW wasn’t a good time for him to begin.

None of them carried any weight with me.

“I make very bad first impressions on people,” he said.

“That’s fairly easy to correct,” I said. “And besides, how you going to start making good first impressions if you keep waiting until you do?”

“But I don’t have all the certifications I want yet,” he rambled.

“Since when do you need a bunch of certifications to get started? I would think one is enough to get the ball rolling.”

“Well, I know plenty of people who have half a dozen certifications in all sorts of areas. Yet, these same people still haven’t started training people. And do you know why?”

“No.”

“They haven’t started because they don’t believe they’re good enough yet. Despite all their certifications that say ‘You’re ready’ – they don’t think they are. So they aren’t.”

The above is a classic example of someone who could be in FLOW, right NOW, but isn’t because he’s holding back the tide.

It isn’t lack of knowledge holding him back. It’s the inner image he has of himself and the corresponding feeling that goes along with it.

All his life this young man has been told he’s not good enough yet, so he won’t even begin.

Contrast his story with a 30-year old man who enrolled in one of my courses several years ago. In this course, he learned how to get into flow.

He followed what I taught and within short order was easily knocking down six figures.

And when he hit six figures he increased his flow to seven figures by making products about what he teaches. Today, he’s a star in his niche.

What’s the biggest difference between the two men?

Physically, the young man I spoke to a few days ago has more going for him. He’s a lean machine with a ton of athletic ability most would scream for.

He accomplished both objectives at the same time by getting into FLOW and starting NOW.

He didn’t wait until he was Mr. Perfect to get moving.

He began with what he had and amplified it.

This is the same thing I’ll be teaching you at my seminar in Clearwater, Florida, this coming month. At present we are 75% full, so there’s still time to enroll if you act immediately.

How We Block the Flow

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

When we were young and uneducated, we did almost everything right in terms of flow.

We breathed from our bellies, we kept our bodies relaxed, we learned with ease and without ceasing, and we moved from one facial expression to another with ease.

And so, it was no accident that we had boundless energy.

Then we went to this place called school and as the saying goes “all bets were off.”

We learned to be filled with stress and tension without anyone telling us to be that way.

We stopped breathing from our center. We started to slouch in our seats. We were easily bored studying what we were told to study – and we began to stop believing in ourselves.

If we got involved in sports, chances are excellent that no one ever explained to us how to relax, move from the center and focus on a target. We were merely taught what to do physically with almost zero instruction on the mental game.

Yet, those same coaches who taught us the physical occasionally told us that sports were a mental game. Many even said things like, “This game is 90% mental.”

So why no instruction in the mental part?

One, the coach didn’t know the mental game – or didn’t believe in it.

Two, the coach didn’t understand that the mental game IS the physical game. The two are inseparable. Physical. Mental. Same, same.

In the classroom, instruction was far worse than on the ball field.

Zero instruction on how to use your mind to achieve a goal.

Zero instruction in how to be confident, courageous and fearless.

Then we enter the so-called “real world” with no instruction on how to handle stress, much less how to stand, sit and move with authority.

Not only that, but we’ve had very little instruction on how to think.

We’ve been taught to memorize and recite, to do as we’re told. But none of these are thinking.

Then, perhaps more importantly, we get zero instruction on how to clear the mind, how to stop thinking, how to get into the zone – how to really enter the flow of life, asking for and getting what we want, what we demand and expect.

And then people wonder why so many people in our society today are pill poppers.

Since the age of four or five, what have most people done to regain their natural state of being, the one B.S. – before school?

The answer: Nothing.

Here’s the good news: You can learn to be a child again – and from this childlike state, regain your courage, your confidence and your creativity.

You can learn to get back into the flow. You can re-enter the zone where all things become possible. You can step back into the time when everything you imagined was real.

The only difference is that NOW you can make the imagined thing the real thing.

I’ll show you how at my seminar in Clearwater, Florida, this coming month. Make sure you’re there. It will be a life-changer in ways you cannot yet believe.

Believe what doesn’t seem possible and you’ll do what others believe incredible.

Best,

The Luck Factor

Monday, October 10th, 2011

Just read the following quote about luck:

“You know what luck is? Luck is believing you are lucky, that’s all.”

These words were spoken by actor Marlon Brando, playing Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire.

Now, let’s look at an example of how luck is attracted when you’re in flow.

Yesterday I received an email from a student who has written three books in the last three weeks.

THREE.

And he got a column in a magazine – and an article published in another.

Before he saw me less than one month ago – he was “down on his luck.”

Now he’s booming.

What changed.

Well, he attended one of my LIVE events, wherein I taught two simple phrases that are practically guaranteed to get anyone off his duff.

He used the phrases and he got into flow. And while in flow, his luck began to change.

Imagine that.

The power phrases I taught this man are five words each. And when repeated they feel almost like you are reciting a poem.

If you recite these two phrases aloud – and picture what you’d like to be doing while saying them – your life will change.

And as it changes, other people will think you’re lucky.

Indeed, you are.

Naturally, those who think you’re lucky won’t think any practice time was involved in your success. They’ll just think you’re more talented than they are. They may even think life is unfair.

They most certainly will not see what gave you the unfair advantage.

Ten words… two magic phrases – and your luck changes.

It’s just not fair.

For those of you who are already enrolled in The Flow seminar being held next month in Clearwater, Florida, congratulations. Your luck is already changing.

For those of you who want to experience the lucky benefits of getting into FLOW – then make sure you enroll NOW.

Your Energy Field

Saturday, October 8th, 2011

Today, I thought it appropriate to examine the opposite of positive energy flow. And right now, in the heart of the MLB Playoffs, there’s no better subject than baseball.

Two nights ago, when Detroit was beating the Yankees, a relief pitcher was on the mound for the Tigers. When the pitcher felt uncertain of his next pitch, he stepped off the mound to collect his thoughts, to which the announcer wisely said: “You cannot afford to throw a pitch when you’re thinking a negative thought.”

Right on.

You need clear mental focus on a positive result. Not half-focus. Not one mental picture of a strike and another of giving up a home run.

One mental picture. One thought.

What you think about BEFORE you throw a pitch is far more important than the type of pitch you throw. A positive mental picture leads to positive results most of the time. A negative mental picture leads to negative results most often.

Now let’s talk about losing.

One of the great things about sports is how, regardless of how good a team supposedly is, regardless of how they look on paper, regardless of whether or not we think victory is a “no brainer” – we still play the games.

At the beginning of this year, before the baseball season even started, pundits were saying that  Boston and Philadelphia were “automatics” for the big show.

Both teams are now out of contention for the World Series.

Boston put  together an unprecedented swoon in September and failed to make the playoffs.

And last night, the Phillies, who were already arrogantly looking forward to their next opponent,  a major mistake in any endeavor, lost the best-of-
five-games series to the St. Louis Cardinals ( a Wild Card, no less).

I, as self-proclaimed Zen Master of Picks, chose the Cards over the Phillies before the series started. Incidentally, I also picked the Tigers over the Yankees and the Brewers over the Diamondbacks. The only wrong pick I made was taking the Rays over Texas (which I attribute to wishful thinking rather than gut-level psychic skills).

Last year, I picked the eventual winner of every series, including the World Series.

Although my picks aren’t infallible, my success percentage is far better than baseball experts who’ve played, coached, analyzed and critiqued the game for decades. They’re even better than Paul Reddick, the Master of MPH, and a Hall-of-Famer combined  – (by the way, Paul owes me two steak dinners for betting me that the Red Sox would make the playoffs.).

How can this be?

It’s quite simple: I sense the energy fields surrounding the teams.

I do not read their stats or look at who’s best on paper. All I do is sense the “field.”

No, not the playing field. The energy field of the various teams.

By doing this, I can pick the winner at least 80% of the time. I think any Vegas gambler would be happy to have an accuracy rating like that,
don’t you?

Now, there are times when I start to question whether or not my picks are correct. Before the start of last night’s game, for example, I asked myself, “How can you pick the Cards to win with Halladay on the mound?”

My answer: We play the games for a reason.

Halladay pitched a gem of a game – and lost, 1-0.

More importantly, though, if you looked at his eyes in the 6th inning, despite pitching superbly, the lights were dim. He already looked defeated.

I called a friend and asked him to look at Halladay’s eyes. “In one word,” I said, “describe what you sense?”

“Beaten down,” he said.

Two words, and he was correct.

Two innings later, I called him again. “Did you see the expression on the catcher’s face?” I said. “Did you see his eyes?”

“Yep,” he said.

“What did you see?”

“Utter frustration.”

Keep in mind the score was still 1-0 at this point. Yet, the eyes of the Phillies gave it away. They were done.

Not only that, the Phillies’ players energy field  gave it away long before the game even started.

The Phillies energy was already flowing downhill before the playoffs even started.

Question: Could their energy field be changed? Could their FLOW be adjusted?

Of course.

Question: How long to change the direction of a person or a team’s energy field?

Answer: Not long at all. In less than 30 minutes if the person is willing to listen, learn and apply.

I’ll be showing how to reverse the flow or increase the positive flow at my November 4-5 seminar in Clearwater, Florida, called THE FLOW.

Why not grab a seat and prepare yourself for the moment in time in which your life goes into FLOW in a much more positive way than ever before.

Best,

Matt Furey

The REAL SECRET

Friday, October 7th, 2011
There is a Law operating in the Universe that the success gurus don’t want to talk about. They either don’t know it  themselves (very common) – or they don’t want to tell you because they secretly fear you becoming competition for them.
I cover this secret in my seminars – and everyone who uses it reaps major rewards.
Fact: You can believe in the Law of Attraction all you want – but it will not and cannot work Unless you understand and follow the “real secret.”
No, this real secret is not hard work. Nor is it emotion, belief, feeling, allowing, visualizing and so on.
All of the above are important – yet, once again, without the Real Secret – without the Real Law – nothing much in your life is going to change for the better.
One of my students found this out recently. He told me he didn’t believe visualizing worked. He said that he had tried it and he got far better results just taking action.
Upon further questioning I led this man to discover that he did not “just take action” of any sort. Without realizing it, he had an elaborate mental process of seeing himself doing something first. And after he saw himself doing it, hedid it.
But… and this is the key, I told him there was still another secret for him to learn that was more important than the Law of Attraction.
I said, “With this secret, you can become great. Without it, you will always be doomed to frustration, mediocrity and failure. Without it you will always believe that visualizing doesn’t work – that it’s another con sold by self-help gurus.”
He took my advice. One month later he was a changed man. He didn’t “just take action” or “just do it.” He did something else first – and it amplified his results like magic.
Here are some examples:
First, he wrote a book within seven days.
Second, he dramatically increased his income.
Third, he completely changed how he related to other people. He became open, friendly and happy – and people liked him. Previously, he was closed, unfriendly and gloomy – and people didn’t like him.
What a turnaround. And not simply because he learned the real secret I wrote about. The turn around happened because he Used the secret.
My friend, you owe it to yourself to put this secret to use in your own life as well. No matter how good, great or rough things are for you right now – you can improve if you use the Real Secret each and every day.
At my seminar next month called “The Flow” – I’ll be teaching the “real secret” – and many other success principles and laws that the gurus don’t teach – either because they don’t know these secrets themselves, or because they don’t want you to know because you’d be “competition” for them.

Enroll in “The Flow” NOW
before it’s completely sold out.
This seminar may never repeat – make sure you’re in attendance. You may never get a second chance to learn this material. Seize the day – NOW.
Best,
Matt Furey
P.S. With each passing day, the fee for “The Flow” goes up. Enroll now and save big.
