Former Tony Robbins’ Bodyguard Says…

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

Just received an email from a Master Instructor in the martial arts, who once served as a bodyguard for Linda Ronstadt, Alexander Haig, Jimmy Buffett and Anthony Robbins amongst many others.

Here’s what he had to say:

Hey Matt,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the copy of your new book, Expect To Win – Hate To Lose.  To say that I enjoyed reading it would be a dis-service to the book.  I found it to be inspirational and enlightening.  Your work continues to touch the warrior’s heart and spirit in a way that many authors can only dream about.

I was so impressed with the book that I am going to make it required reading for all our students who are candidates for advanced Black Belt rank.

Again, thank you for the information and I look forward to the next chapter in your remarkable story.

Respectfully,

Manuel Cabrera Jr.
7th Degree Black Belt

D.M.I.D.D.

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

You’ve probably heard the K.I.S.S. phrase: “Keep it Simple, Stupid.”

Well, some people take offense to this line. They get upset and say, “Hey, who you calling dummy?”

That’s when you can play ignorant and rephrase:

“Don’t Make it Difficult, Dummy.”

Seriously now, making things more difficult than they are is one of the biggest reasons why people don’t succeed.

It’s not so much that they don’t simplify things. It’s more that they make everything out to be BIGGER than it is.

In sports, music and the arts, the elite professionals make their job look easy. That’s why they’re called “pros.”

Making something more difficult than it is, usually has more to do with how you breathe and move under stress than it does how many steps you added to a task that don’t really belong.

For example, last week my son, Frank, clobbered the ball in a baseball game.  During his first at bat he whacked the ball hard. And he was so sure it was
gone that he admired the flight of the ball far too long.

The ball bounced off the fence and he ended up with a measly single.  Frank’s next time up, he barely swung the bat and the ball sailed over the 200-foot fence. It landed 265 feet from home plate, 10 feet short of the 275-foot fence set up for older players.

More than anyone else, Frank was surprised how far the second ball went because he felt as if he barely swung the bat.

Hmm.

Ball players will tell you that hard swings often end up as dribblers, lousy ground balls that end up as automatic outs. Yet, effortless swings put the ball out of the park.

What gives?

Moreover, how do you stop making things more difficult than they are? How do you get rid of the physical and psychic tension that keeps causing you to dribble along instead of soaring like an eagle.

The answer is revealed in Chapter 29 of my new book, Expect to Win -Hate to Lose.

Get it NOW and stop making life more difficult than it is.

Best,

Matt Furey

Losers Don’t Want to Do This

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

There’s a “common sense” success secret that is, as the saying goes, “anything but common.”

In the world of physical training, I understood the secret and used it. But in the areas of my life that weren’t working so well, I lived life as if I had no clue this principle even existed.

In business, I floundered for years. 13 to be exact.

Despite being told, almost from the get-go, that I was a marketing genius, I was losing far more than I was winning.

Then one day, by “accident” – I began doing something each day that I never did before. What I did had nothing to do with marketing. Yes, it required a pencil and paper – but not for writing books, advertisements or anything else.

In fact, the pencil and paper weren’t even for writing goals, affirmations or action plans.

As time went on the pencil and paper were replaced by a computer.

Why?

Because what flowed to me increased so dramatically it was almost impossible to finish my daily task in less than a half-hour, and at the end of the day, I was tired and wanted to go home.

Today I do the same type of activity on my i-Phone.

It’s no longer something I do at the end of each day. I’m doing it all day long – everyday because it only takes a few seconds.

On the days in which I do this activity – I’m continually amazed. On days in which I’m “too busy” – I’m stunned at the decline.

If you’re the type of person who has always resisted or doubted the Law of Attraction, visualization, goal setting or anything of the sort – then you’ll probably enjoy reading about this very practical and realistic way to accelerate growth, without even trying.

Read all about this “common sense” success secret that is “anything but common” in Chapter 27 of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Until then, just remember that winners do this one thing and losers don’t. And those who win at the highest level – do it more than anyone.

After reading about this principle, put it to use and watch your life blossom.

Best,

Matt Furey

Not Banned in China

Monday, August 29th, 2011

There’s an exercise that works wonders for your lower back, your hips, legs, chest, lungs, diaphragm, abdominals and much more.

And it’s not banned in China.

In fact, in the hundreds of books I’ve read in China, books on conditioning for the military, books on kung fu, yoga or general fitness, this exercise appears over and over.

Here in the U.S. this exercise is loved by certain groups “in the know” – but feared by others who don’t really understand how it works.

This exercise has a legion of benefits – including increased blood flow to the brain – which may help reduce the chances of Alzheimers and dementia.

And the fat-burning, muscle-molding benefits of doing this exercise on a regular basis are truly profound.

Yet, some months ago, when I was asked to teach a group of youths conditioning, many parents expressed a grave fear that I might be teaching this exercise.

I was shocked.

In the circles I run around in, no one fears this exercise. Everyone loves it and benefits from it.

Here in our “free” country – many people would like to see this exercise banned. But in China, where so many things are banned, where every published book must be approved by the government, this exercise is still allowed.

Hmmm.

Find out what this extraordinary exercise is in Chapter 21 of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Chances are excellent this one exercise holds the key to vastly improving your overall health and well being.

Order NOW.

Matt Furey

Monk Walks for 90 Days Without Sleep

Monday, August 29th, 2011

Ever miss a day of sleep? Ever go a couple nights without getting any rest?

No matter how uncomfortable you might feel from not sleeping for a night or two, it’s nothing compared to going for a 90-day walk in which you’re not allowed to sleep, sit or lie down.

Sounds crazy, I know. You’d have to be a modern day Superman to pull it off, right?

Well, imagine this: I met the monk who did it. He’s the same monk who ran 1,000 marathons in 7 years – 100 days in a row x 10 – through the mountains of Japan.

And after finishing and being declared “a living Buddha” or saint, he asked to do it again because he believed he could do better.

The next time he finished all 1,000 marathons in six years.

Amazing, huh?

But at least he got to sleep in between runs.

Want to know more? I’m betting you do.

One thing is for sure, if you ever start feeling wimpy or weak – if you ever begin thinking “I CAN’T” – then Chapter 18 in my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose will turn your thinking – and your life around.

Get the details on what inspired and drove this humble monk to succeed. Order Expect to Win – Hate to Lose NOW – follow each lesson and you’ll never look back with regret.

Baby Teaches Success to #1 Coach

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

There I was, standing with my dad, talking to championship coaches for the finest collegiate wrestling program in the country.

And the coach tells us something that we should observe about a baby. He tells us that the baby holds the KEY to success, in anything.

Now, my father practiced law for almost 50 years, retiring at age 70. He reads several books per week and still does. Yet, he had NEVER heard what this coach was saying about success. And I’ll bet he wished he’d known it before having seven children (I was the 2nd youngest).

What does a baby know that we don’t?

Well, let me give you part of the secret that will be revealed to you in Chapter One of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Here tis: The mother and father of the baby willingly participate in making him successful – at this ONE THING. Then, they almost always forget what they did to create this success – and the child suffers.

Yesterday, esteemed child psychiatrist, Daniel J. Cardona, M.D. – aka The Ninja Doctor, confirmed this when he wrote the following:

“The very first chapter I read from Expect to Win – Hate to Lose hit home or me.  The chapter gave me a brand new perspective and strategy for busting through an obstacle that had been in the way of making one of my dreams of success real.  As it turned out, every chapter had this effect for some part of my life. I think anyone with desire and motivation to be a “champion” in whatever they choose, in or outside of sports, must read this book.”

Even if you were to guess what the ONE success is – I’m confident you cannot guess the “why” or the “how” that went into creating it.

But ALL will be revealed to you in Chapter One.

Make sure you have this secret as part of your daily success arsenal.

After all, if it’s good enough to drive young men, long past the baby stage, to national, world and Olympic championships – it must be good
enough for all of us.

Coincidences, I Think

Saturday, August 27th, 2011

20 years ago, when I had a personal fitness training facility in California, I used to mentally picture new clients coming to me.

I’d imagine the phone ringing with new prospects.

I’d picture setting an appointment with the person who called. And I’d see the prospect turning into a customer.

Afterward, an amazing series of “coincidences” would take place.

People who’d driven by my gym for months would suddenly drop by. Or they’d be referred to me. Or they’d see my ad for the first time.

Whenever this happened I would be ecstatic. My excitement would be off the charts.

And in the midst of my emotional high, I would do one thing that would cause the good I had just attracted to scatter like scared deer.

What was that one thing?

It’s something you’re probably doing as well. And once you discover what it is, and stop doing it – your winning ways will multiply many times over. Mine sure did.

Read all about this classic and all-too-common mistake in Chapter 6 of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Just so you know, this mistake I wrote about, is not my opinion or my theory. It’s been scientifically tested since 1933 – and every time two groups were tested, the group who always comes out on top is the group who did the OPPOSITE of what I was doing when things went wrong.

Make a decision, my friend. Decide which group you’d rather play ball with. Those who win – or those who lose.

Matt Furey

How to Get Out of a Slump

Friday, August 26th, 2011

Last May I worked with an MLB slugger who was in a terrible slump.

I wasn’t called in to teach him how to swing – but how to increase his internal energy and focus, so that when he swung the bat, he started hitting home runs again.

The slugger asked me how soon the training I was giving him would work, i.e. how soon before I knock another one out of the park?

A week later, when I was in China, I took delight in seeing him hit seven dingers in six games.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Who was this man and what did I teach him?

More importantly, will the technique I taught him get you out of ANY kind of slump – even an economic one?

The answer is “YES.”

And you’ll find out how in Chapter 3 of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

In addition to that, everyone who snags a copy of Expect to Win – Hate to Lose today will get in on a private webinar, wherein I give details of this secret. The value of this event is $295.00 – but it’s gratis to you with your order now.

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

E-Day is finally here. Today is the day I launch my newest book Expect To Win – Hate To Lose.

I held an off.line launch last week along with a book signing and reading. The people who attended leaped high hurdles to get in line for a copy.

Watch the video of me reading one of the 62 chapters that are either “pearls before swine” or “golden nuggets” for under and overachievers.

Best,

Matt Furey

P.S. Here’s what people are already saying about Expect To Win – Hate To Lose:

“This book has the strength of a Siberian tiger, and yet all its inspiring physical lessons contain even deeper lessons for the mind and spirit. This is Matt’s masterpiece – the most inspiring book I’ve ever read. I’m ready to take the mountain and keep climbing, and I will never stop reading this book.”

Steve Chandler
Author of Time Warrior

“I think I’ve read over 1,000 books on self-improvement, success, winning. None of them and I mean NONE OF THEM were as powerful as Expect To Win – Hate To Lose. If you are doing okay this book will make you a winner. If you’re a winner this book will make you a champion. If you’re a champion this book will put you in the Hall of Fame.
