Hot Cubans

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Here in Tampa Bay there are a lot of Cubans. Nothing like Miami, but still far more than the little town in Iowa where I grew up.

And let me tell you, the Cubans know how to make a sandwich – especially a HOT one. So they can run a great business making foot long “Hot Cubans.”

Anyway a good friend of mine loves a different form of HOT when it comes to Cuban. He literally goes into heat at the sight of a Cuban booty, er, beauty.

And much of his attraction is outside of his control. Or so it seems.

Here’s why: One time the two of us were in a Cuban restaurant in NY ordering a Cuban breakfast with toasty Cuban bread. And the lady waiting on him gave him a vibe so strong I think i could have sensed it a mile away.

The vibe was so strong that before I looked up to see “Who” I was kicking him in the shins to let him know he’d already been had.

Within a nano-second of their eyes meeting a connection was forged.

Afterward he said to me, “My Gawd, if you could only bottle that type of energy and use it for something other than scrogging, just think what you’d have.”

I smiled and said, “Dude, don’t you see the obvious? I’ve been telling you howvto do this for years for your business.”

He says, “Yeah, I know, but I think it’s more powerful if you’re a woman.”

I said, “You sexist moron. Men may be a bit Philistine in this matter, but if they take the time to learn, a whole new Universe opens up to them.”

That afternoon I spent time modeling what I meant. He used what I taught him and two months later had a book out. He’ll be at my seminar in early December wherein I will be pulling back the curtain and practically standing naked before you ad I show you by DOING everything I’ve previously only talked about without demonstrating.

Only two dozen spots remain for this event which may never repeat.

If you’re attracted to the idea of creating a HOT product with a sizzling website, ad and heat wave of customers then enroll NOW.

WashingtonTimes.com Columnist Praises The Unbeatable Man

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

I just received an email from Mark A. Kellner, a technology columnist at WashingtonTimes.com. Here’s what he had to say about my new book, The Unbeatable Man:

Dear Matt,

I’m not sure why I ordered The Unbeatable Man, given that my interest in wrestling — of any kind — has been, well, nil. But order I did, and I picked up the book this afternoon. I didn’t read it in one sitting, but I did read it in one day, and I’m glad I did. Though I’m not likely to wrestle anything more than my waistline in the foreseeable future, your story has the grit, authenticity and drama to drive home a point…

Thanks for a great read — and a great inspiration.

Very best regards,

Mark K.

MJF: Thank you, Mark. You’ve made my day.

Order your copy of The Unbeatable Man today by going here and I’ll throw in a copy of The Power of Though Vibration absolutely free.

Best,

For the Love of Fear

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Yesterday I took my kids to Busch Gardens here in Tampa, Florida. My son wanted to go on all the roller coaster rides, especially those that were the ‘scariest.’

“I’m a risk taker,” he said to me as we walked the short hill up to a ride called the Shiekra. On this ride your feet are hanging in mid-air. Up you go some 200 feet, then you are plunged straight down.

Yes, it’s a straight 90-degree drop.

Naturally my son didn’t want to go it alone, so I agreed to ride along with him.

The first drop was freaky. I thought my stomach might come out – it was that fast and disorienting. But I stayed calm and breathed deeply from my lower abdomen.

The second drop was nearly the same, but oddly enough, not half as scary as the first. This proves the Emerson saying, “Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.”

If you’d like a taste of this ride you can observe the fearless video someone made, while on the ride.

After the Shiekra we went on a couple more rides that were longer and.. if you can imagine, even scarier. This one called the Kumba had you doing aerial 360’s at 60 mph.

Yes, while on this one I was very busy doing my Zen Master breathing exercises. Yeoow.

When we left the park my kids were talking about “next time.” You mean you didn’t get enough today.

Nope. It’s the love of fear, baby.

And it’s verifiable proof that we aren’t forced to hate the things we fear. We make choices all the time. We choose to love fear and call it risk taking. Or we hate what we fear and call it dread.

Either way, you are right.

Even so, why not think of something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet? Something you can see yourself doing as you say, “I’m a risk taker.”

After you’ve done the thing – I’m betting you’ll realize how much courage you’ve got stored inside of you, longing for the moment you let it out.

One thing is for sure, in my book, most risks we fear are a lot less risky than the roller coaster rides I went on yesterday.

P.S. Tomorrow, a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT about my “Model Me” seminar being held in Clearwater Beach, Florida, first week of December. At this event you’ll be able to “watch me” come up with an idea for a product, map out the idea, research it, choose a title, write the ad, have the website created and the product launched LIVE. This is something I’ve never done b4 – and it will be far MORE POWERFUL than listening to me talk about my creative process. You’ll watch in ACTION.

Afterward you’ll be able to “ask me” any question you have about the process, as I take you behind the curtain of my creative process and reveal all the missing pieces to the puzzle so that you can “model me” with effortless ease.

By the way, you’ll also get to observe me as I do all my breathing exercises and other movements that supercharge my mind/body to create with focused precision.

More details manana.
