What it Takes to Win

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

When a person is down, and feels as if he can’t sink any lower – when he thinks that things cannot get worse, it’s time to think again.

Things can always get worse.

At the same time, things can always get better.

Even if you think everything is perfect – it’s not.

It’s just a lot better than anything else you’ve ever seen – or done.

When I was a collegiate wrestler, after every match, win or lose, I took out a yellow pad and wrote the following on the top of the page:

“4 Things I Can Improve”

Let me tell you, there were times when I ran out on the mat and pinned the guy in 30 seconds. Everyone was clapping and congratulating me after the victory.

Even so, I still took out my yellow pad and looked for fourĀ  things to improve.

In Chapter 34 of my new book, Expect to Win – Hate to Lose, I tell the story of a different method for creating success.

It’s much better than what I just told you I did.

Why?

Because it helped a man who couldn’t win at all, become a champion.

The story takes place in China, where the man lived. Every day, despite having enormous strength, the man was defeated when he practiced push hands with other martial artists. His daily ritual of defeat lasted five years.

Think of it.

Five years of daily defeat.

Then something clicked. He started winning.

And the winning never stopped. He became virtually unbeatable.

Like myself, this man was recording his experiences in his notebook, but he did something I never did – until I got into business.

Yes, I used the same idea I learned from this man to improve my business – 10-fold, then 30-fold, then 77-fold.

When your mind is open and you really want to “get it” – you’ll find the secret in Expect to Win – Hate to Lose.

Order NOW and you’ll be astounded at how much better perfect can get.

Best,

Matt Furey
