Beware of Vitamin C Tablets

The Way UP and Out

Last night I spoke with a man from Australia who made his first million last year. He told me he’s spent so much time listening to my CDs in his car, on the way to work, that he feels like he’s known me for a long time.

Worst Investment You Can Make

Here’s something I learned years ago from Ted Nicholas, a man whose sold over $7 Billion dollars worth of goods; a man who was $96,000.00 in debt at one time; a man who lives in three countries during the year – with spectacular views of mountains and the ocean at each residence.

He told me, “A brand new car is the single worst investment you’ll ever make in your life.”

I didn’t like hearing this the first time I heard Ted say this. After all, the car I was driving was NEW. And so, even though I lost money on the “investment” before the ink had even dried, even though I’d lost money before driving off the dealer’s lot, I had to justify my decision somehow.

This was easy to do when talking to my accountant. He told me that because I got a “lease” I was saving money on taxes.

Yeah, right.

Pay a fortune in interest. Don’t own what you’re driving – but save money on taxes.

That’s “logic” and premature e-gratification – when you’re blowing your load too soon – and in this case, you may be blowing your load before you even have one.

Truth: You don’t need a new car or a new car payment.

That’s no way to get out of debt. There’s a much better way to get around; a much better way to eliminate debt and enjoy peace of mind.

Imagine, no bills, no debt and no worries about how you’re going to make ends meet.

This includes no mortgage payments, no car payments, no rental fees, no leasing fees. Nothing.

Also imagine, if you can, having a home here and abroad – both of them fully owned by you.

The idea was nearly inconceivable to me years ago, but Ted knows it better than anyone – and lives it.

Maybe having a home in more than one country doesn’t appeal to you. But being debt-free, FOREVER – if that has no appeal to you, then you must not have a pulse.

How to Get Out of Debt

First Sign of Getting Older

There’s a Chinese saying, “Ren lao xian lao tui.”

This means: “When people get old, the legs go first.”

And that’s a fact.

You really know someone is getting older because he’s no longer strong or flexible in the legs.

Now, some people may think they’ve never been flexible in their legs – but this is simply not the case. Ever see a newborn who couldn’t easily insert big toe into mouth?

So all of us started out flexible. Then, either through neglect or improper training, we got tighter.

And we figured having tight hamstrings and tight shoulders and tight spinal erectors is normal.

Yes, It’s normal for people who are getting older and weaker. But it’s not normal for those who remain nimble, quick and flexible, regardless of their age.

In China, I’ve seen men and women in their 80’s and 90’s stretch into positions that would challenge the average infant.

These men and women didn’t start out this way – but they’ve continued to improve and get healthier even as the years add up.

You may think it’s impossible to improve upon your flexibility beyond a certain age, but this is not true. One of my clients, Algie, a retired police officer, dramatically improved his flexibility in his mid-50’s – long past the time where he thought he was stuck.

You’re not stuck, my friend. You can get more flexible the Furey Way – and do so regardless of your age.

The Vitamin C Hoax

Ask around a bit and this is what you’ll most likely hear:

“Do you take Vitamin C.”

“Yes, I do.”

“Really, in what way.”

“As a multi-vitamin or solo tablet.”

4-11-12 Player X Makes MLB Team

I cannot tell you who he is right now. But two and a half months ago, Player X could barely throw a baseball.

Player X was in horrible pain. And he had less than a month to go before Spring Training.

When he came to see me I began working on his shoulder as well as his tendon strength and focus. I did exercises with him that are straight out of my program on eliminating shoulder pain.

Player X not only survived Spring Training. He made the MLB squad.

He’s now throwing and hitting well. And his agent told me, “If he hadn’t come to see you he would have been released during the first week of Spring Training.”

I was thrilled to hear this – but he must continue doing what I showed him to remain healthy.

This evening, when I watch Player X on tee-vee, I’ll be pulling for him to smack one over.

Just as I’m pulling for all the others who have shoulder pain.

Retired Military Officer Drops 23 Pounds

Just received an email from a retired officer in the U.S. Army, raving about the results he got following the Combat Conditioning
System
as well as Combat Abs.

At 54 years of age, he turned back the clock and improved his overall fitness by a long shot.

Mr. Furey,

I finally had to stop and e-mail to tell you that you training works.

I purchased your books Combat Conditioning and Combat Abs several years ago, but kept starting and stopping and letting my own lack of confidence stop me from succeeding in my training.

Well last year shortly after my 54th birthday I took a position in Saudi Arabia to assist in training the Saudi Arabia National Guard; I am a retired military officer.

Anyway when I left for Saudi I weighed somewhere over 205 pounds and was basically out of shape.  I brought both of your books with me so I could try again.  I started the Royal Court and Combat Abs at the end of September 2011. I weighed 202.5 lbs in my workout clothes.  I was able to do less than 30 Hindu Squats and less that 20 Hindu Push-ups.

Fast forward to December 2011, I was doing 110 Hindu Squats non-stop, 40 Hindu Push-ups and 80 No Momentum Sit-ups, and my weight was about 190 lbs.  I was also able to run 2 miles in less than 19 minutes.

Today, 9 April 2012, I did 157 Hindu Squats (non-stop), 212 overall as I did a second set of 55, 90 Hindu Push-ups in three sets, 103 No Momentum Sit-ups(non-stop), 20 V-Ups, and held a standing hand stand for 75 seconds as well as some of your other exercises.  I also did 32 regular push-ups in 2 sets after the Hindu Push-ups.  I also now weigh about 182 lbs, which I have not weighed since 1996.

All I can say is thanks for turning me onto body weight training; it works!
